Law firm Davis Wright Tremaine expands its team with the addition of a real estate partner in Anchorage.
Sarah Gillstrom has joined the Anchorage team at Davis Wright Tremaine as a Partner in the real estate group. With a focus on real estate transactions and construction law, Gillstrom brings extensive experience to the northernmost Davis Wright office, which is currently growing and becoming more diverse.
Gillstrom holds a bachelor's degree in finance from DePaul University and a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School. She began her career in Anchorage, practicing at Lynch & Associates, before moving on to Perkins Coie and most recently, Morgan Lewis & Bockius.
Lisa Peterson, co-chair of Davis Wright's real estate group, expressed her excitement about Gillstrom's hiring, saying, "Sarah's extensive experience and expertise in real estate transactions and construction law will be a valuable asset to our team and our clients."

Gillstrom's duties at Davis Wright Tremaine will involve working closely with clients on a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects. She has argued cases in federal and state courts, including the Alaska Superior Court, and is looking forward to integrating her existing client base into the collaborative Davis Wright platform.
