Leadership Figure asserts: Kazakhstan's ethnic diversity offers a competitive strategic edge
In a significant milestone for Kazakhstan's modern history, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the 24th session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, acknowledging the 30th anniversary of this esteemed institution.
President Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan is a united nation, looking towards the future with confidence. He expressed his belief that the jubilee would consolidate the nation for the happiness and well-being of each citizen.
The President emphasised the importance of preserving, multiplying, and passing on the best achievements of Kazakhstan's Independence to future generations. He highlighted ethnic diversity as a national treasure and strategic advantage, fostering unity and cohesion, dialogue, mutual trust, and respect, which are the immutable principles of Kazakhstan's progress.
President Tokayev expressed gratitude to all members of the Assembly for their selfless work for the benefit of the country. He stated that Kazakhstan overcomes all difficulties and confidently moves towards its goals, strengthening its Independence and Sovereignty.
The President underscored that if there is no agreement in society, all other efforts will be in vain. He emphasised that Kazakhstan is capable of living in peace and harmony on its land and deciding its own fate. The highest reward for their people, according to the President, is peace in the country.
President Tokayev also paid tribute to compatriots who have contributed to the prosperity and unity of their people. Building a Just Kazakhstan is a goal that the President is committed to, as stated in the report from Akorda.
The President concluded his speech by congratulating the Assembly on its jubilee and wishing for their unity to grow stronger, and for peace and prosperity for everyone. He expressed his confidence that this jubilee would further consolidate the nation, ensuring the well-being and unity of each citizen.
