Legendary band Radiohead re-emerges on the Hot 100 chart, breaking a more than 15-year absence.

After a long hiatus from the charts, Radiohead's "Let Down" has made a stunning comeback, marking the band's first new appearance on the Hot 100 in 17 years. The song, originally shared by the band many years ago and never promoted as a single, has recently surged in popularity, thanks to its sudden virality.

As of now, "Let Down" stands at No. 91 on the Hot 100, with the potential to rise higher in the coming month or so. This resurgence has also aided the rise of Radiohead's famous track, "Creep," on multiple Billboard charts.

"Creep," Radiohead's highest-rising and longest-running song on the Hot 100, has earned 20 stays on the tally. It is currently establishing new best placements on a trio of Billboard charts, while "Let Down" debuted on multiple charts in America this summer.

Throughout more than 30 years of their career, Radiohead has accrued four appearances on the Hot 100. "High and Dry," the band's second highest-peaking song, reached No. 78 on the Hot 100 and remained for eight weeks. Interestingly, "Let Down" is the band's lowest-peaking hit on the Hot 100.

It's worth noting that Radiohead has never been focused on radio play or chart wins. As an influential band in rock history, they have regularly challenged conventions and pushed alternative rock to new and exciting places.

The single "Let Down" has also seen success on other platforms. After its re-release in summer 2025, it reached position 59 on the Spotify daily chart in the United States. Currently, "Let Down" is on eight different Billboard charts, with four of them seeing new high points.

"Let Down" is currently aiding the rise of Radiohead's famous track, "Creep," on multiple Billboard charts. The song "Nude" by Radiohead is the only other track by the band to have appeared on the Hot 100, spending a single turn on the chart and peaking at No. 37.

As the dust settles on this unexpected revival, fans and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly waiting to see how high "Let Down" will climb on the Hot 100 in the coming weeks.
