LEGO Welcomes Saudi Passengers at Dubai Airport with Surprise Gifts

Passengers arriving from Saudi Arabia at Dubai International Airport's Terminals 1 and 3 were greeted with a delightful surprise. LEGO cultural displays, reflecting themes of 'Pride in Our Nature' and the UAE's 'Year of Community', welcomed them. Each child received a special goodie bag filled with exciting treats.

The activation saw LEGOLAND Dubai Resort partner with Dubai Customs to celebrate Saudi Arabia's 95th National Day. Children were met by LEGOLAND Boy and Girl mascots for memorable photo opportunities. Each young passenger received a goodie bag containing an exclusive LEGO set, a complimentary LEGOLAND ticket, vouchers for LEGO stores in KSA, and an engraved souvenir brick.

Tim Harrison-Jones, then General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, expressed his delight in participating in the initiative. He praised the collaboration with Dubai Customs, highlighting their shared commitment to community engagement. Families and LEGO enthusiasts were also gifted engraved souvenir bricks to celebrate the occasion.

LEGOLAND Dubai Resort's involvement in the celebration was recognised with a token of appreciation from Dubai Customs. The resort continues to support community initiatives, fostering joy and creativity among children. As of 2025, Matt Fair serves as the General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, carrying on the tradition of community engagement.
