Lenovo Laptop's Display Pivots from Landscape to Portrait Orientation
Lenovo Unveils Two Innovative Laptops for Business Users
Lenovo, the global technology company, has announced two new laptops designed for business users: the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 and the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept.
The ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 is a powerful workstation, equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 200 HX processor and an Nvidia RTX Pro series GPU. This high-performance laptop can accommodate up to 128GB of RAM and boasts a 3.2K OLED touch display, making it an ideal choice for demanding business tasks. With a starting price of $3,400, the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 offers a no-frills, Winslow-esque approach to business devices.
In a separate announcement, Lenovo unveiled the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept, a 14-inch laptop with a unique feature: a vertically rotating screen. This innovative design is intended to be useful for people who code or prefer to read multiple paragraphs at a time on an ad-filled webpage. The screen can be lifted and positioned with a single hand, transforming a horizontal display into a vertical one.
The screen rotation mechanism inside the laptop is complex, with a joint that rotates around two points. However, the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept lacks a phone stand and a pull-out tab for easier screen handling. It does, however, offer an extra space for a phone, allowing for file transfer or screen mirroring with Lenovo Smart Connect.
Interestingly, Lenovo has also previously brought a similar concept to life with the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, featuring a 14-inch screen that extends vertically to 16.7 inches. The manufacturer of both the Lenovo Smart Motion Concept and the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept is Lenovo.
These new laptops from Lenovo are set to shake up the business laptop market with their innovative designs and powerful specifications. The ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 and the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept are sure to attract attention from business users seeking cutting-edge technology to enhance their productivity.
