Lessons in creating stylish apparel designs
The Lernort Studio Düsseldorf is welcoming new students for its upcoming semester, offering a variety of courses that cater to a wide range of interests. Among them is the fashion design course taught by renowned Düsseldorf designer Tina Miyake.
The fashion design courses at the Lernort Studio are designed for 8 to 10 participants, and registration is still open. No prior knowledge is required, making it an accessible option for those eager to explore their creative side.
The courses begin with teaching participants the basics, such as how to use a sewing machine. As students progress, they will have the opportunity to tackle more challenging projects. Last semester, participants sewed and tie-dyed T-shirts, and a photoshoot was conducted when the items were finished.
All materials required for the courses are provided on-site, ensuring a seamless learning experience for all students. The cost for each semester is 18 euros.
Tina Miyake, a well-known fashion designer in Düsseldorf, has been teaching at the Lernort Studio since February 2019. She first completed an apprenticeship as a tailor after school and later studied costume and stage design. Her studio and store have been located on Ackerstraße in Düsseldorf since 2002.
The Lernort Studio Düsseldorf offers a diverse range of courses beyond fashion design. These include animated films, poetry slam, dance, singing, and more. Registration for these courses can be done at Aachener Straße 39.
