"Guinness World Records - The Big Show of World Records," an original production from SAT.1, is set to captivate audiences with a weekend of record-breaking feats, airing live on SAT.1 and Joyn. The two-day event commenced on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 8:15 PM, with the first live show airing that evening, followed by a second live show on Saturday, August 30, at the same time.

This thrilling spectacle, produced by Constantin Entertainment, promises to break 19 records live on August 29th and 30th. The show will be hosted by the charismatic duo, Michelle Hunziker and Jörg Pilawa.

Contestants from around the globe are set to showcase their extraordinary skills in a variety of challenges. For instance, Lars Christiansen (48, Copenhagen) is attempting to correctly identify the top 100 yearly single charts from the last 50 years. On the other hand, Tom Buxbaum (12, Siegen) is aiming to perform the most stunt scooter tricks in one minute.

In an attempt to impress the audience, Christian Schäfer (33, Haßfurt) is attempting to memorize the most phone numbers in three minutes. Meanwhile, Nina Windmüller (37, Bergisch Gladbach) aims to beat the record for catching a football from a drone at a height of over 38.924 meters.

Mika Nieminen (44, Finland) is attempting to break the record for pulling a vehicle with just his nipples, aiming to exceed 988.5 kilograms. Orell Herzog (11, Ramstein-Miesenbach) is attempting to break the record for removing bottle caps with karate kicks, aiming for at least 46 in one minute.

The show will also feature intriguing challenges such as Thore, Lasse Gauch, Ha Van Duc, Philipp Adams, Jens Glaser, and Philipp Kausch competing in a straw drinking jumps record. Matthias Schlitte (38, Bebertal) is aiming for a 24-hour arm wrestling world record in Munich.

Soledad Sichert (54, Windhagen) is a water sommelier and is attempting to identify the most mineral waters in three minutes solely by taste. Nicolle Müller with Chihuahua Juju (Mahlow) is attempting a knock-over bottles record.

Daniel Schmidt (34, Hamburg) and René Casselly (28) will attempt a slam dunk from a trampoline record. Mauricio Farias da Silva (28, Munich) aims to beat the record for sending a SMS during a headspin.

Furthermore, Florian Hägele (25, Hohenlohekreis) and Severin Bühler (36, Switzerland) are competing for a record in climbing an eight-meter-high tree trunk using the springboard technique. Sina Ruppenthal (25, Dortmund) is attempting to beat the record for lifting and throwing ten men.

Bettina Dorfmann (64, Düsseldorf) is attempting to identify Barbie dolls by touch, while Thomas Weigel (34, Bielefeld) is attempting to identify tree species by licking the bark in a three-minute challenge.

Siegfried Unterpertinger (64), Hermann Lanthaler (61) and Gerhard Kohlgruber (69, all from South Tyrol) are attempting to suck up and stack as many beer mugs as possible with their mouths in three minutes. Jürgen Müller (65, Mannheim) is attempting to perform the most bar-to-bar jumps (laché jumps) at a height of ten meters while blindfolded.
