In a study by Lindt & Sprüngli, it has been revealed that over half of Brits (55%) reach for chocolate as a post-meal treat. This trend has led the Swiss chocolate manufacturer to introduce a range of new flavours, adding to their popular Les Grandes and Creation ranges.

Stefan Bruderer, Master Chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli, comments, "Chocolate is a firm favourite when it comes to a little post-meal indulgence."

The new additions to the Creation range include the Creation Hazelnut Wafer, Creation Pistachio Delight, and Creation Caramel. The Creation Hazelnut Wafer is milk chocolate filled with hazelnut praline and wafer pieces, while the Creation Pistachio Delight is a dark chocolate bar with pistachio filling and almond pieces, inspired by the popular pistachio Dubai Chocolate. The Creation Caramel features a soft caramel centre.

These new flavours join the dessert-inspired Creation Pudding Perfection, which boasts a custard filling and caramelised sugar pieces inside milk chocolate. The Creation Caramel is exclusive to Sainsbury's, in addition to being available online and in Lindt stores.

It seems that Brits have a penchant for unique tastes and textures, as 40% of those surveyed expressed a preference for such qualities in their chocolate. This is reflected in the Creation range, which aims to turn classic puddings into bite-sized treats.

Interestingly, 42% of Brits said they enjoy chocolate more than any other dessert.

The Les Grandes Fruit & Nut, a milk chocolate bar filled with roasted hazelnuts and raisins, is also part of the new offerings. This bar can be found in Lindt shops, online on Lindt's website, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, ASDA, and Ocado.

Lindt & Sprüngli, founded in 1845 in Zurich, Switzerland, competes with brands such as Green & Black's and Hotel Chocolat in the UK's premium chocolate market. Each new flavour from Lindt is priced at £4.75 RRP.

The new flavours from Lindt are sure to satisfy the sweet tooth of many Brits, offering a variety of unique and indulgent chocolate experiences.
