It is implied that these videos are part of Pokémon's ongoing teasing for Mega Malamar, as Mega Malamar, along with Mega Dragonite and Mega Victreebel, has been seen in leaks before. In fact, Mega Victreebel, a gargantuan Pokémon, was recently revealed in a trailer, exhibiting self-asphyxiation behavior and shooting poisonous gloop.
