In a series of unfortunate events, several incidents have been reported across Reutlingen and its surrounding areas.

In Reutlingen's Römerschanze district, unknown persons trespassed into a fenced-in pasture in Marie-Curie-Straße and took a sheep. The sheep was later found dead about 100 meters away at the edge of a field. The Tübingen police station has initiated investigations into the incident, and the Reutlingen-West police post and the Environmental and Business Affairs department are also investigating for potential violations of the Animal Protection Act.

Meanwhile, in Onstmettingen, a collision on Wednesday morning resulted in significant damage. A 24-year-old driving a Kia failed to notice a 53-year-old BMW driver approaching from the direction of Tailfingen, leading to a collision. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but both vehicles were so severely damaged that they had to be towed away, causing approximately 16,000 euros worth of damage.

Elsewhere, an unknown person broke into a total of seven garden houses in Großbettlingen's Kleingartenanlage Hohe Wiese. The Nürtingen-Rossdorf police post is currently investigating this incident.

In a separate incident, an unknown person broke into a business in Tübingen's Herrenberger Straße, but no further details were provided about the incident or the investigation.

A more complex incident occurred in the form of a fire. Firefighters, rescue services, and police were called to a major incident on Wednesday afternoon when a tractor with an attached baler caught fire on a field between the K 7128 and K 7130. Preliminary investigations suggest a technical malfunction on the tractor as the cause of the fire. The estimated material damage is around 600,000 euros.

Lastly, an unknown person broke into an inn in Herrenberger Straße, apparently searching for cash. A police helicopter was also deployed to assist in the incident.

If you have any tips about any of these incidents, especially about the perpetrator(s), you can contact the Reutlingen-West police post at telephone number 07121/9394-0.
