"Louis Klamroth Introduces New Format on ARD under the Label 'Deep State'"
On September 15, Louis Klamroth will not only be returning to our screens with his popular talk show "Hart aber fair" but also launching a new podcast series titled "Deep State - From Elite Soldier to Reichsbürger". This podcast, part of the new podcast channel "Hateland", will exclusively be published on the same day as the return of "Hart aber fair".
The podcast series delves into the complex world of Reichsbürger, Neonazis, and Conspiracy Theorists. It focuses on the so-called "Gruppe Reuß", which is said to have planned an armed coup, and features a former Bundeswehr commander and alleged Reichsbürger, who became a defendant in one of Germany's largest terror trials.
Meanwhile, "Hart aber fair" will air on Monday evenings at 9 pm, after returning from its summer break. Last year, ARD announced a reduction in the production volume of "Hart aber fair" from 30 to 20 episodes per year.
In addition to his talk show, Louis Klamroth will also be hosting a new politics show called "Press Play". This new addition to the ARD network is set to launch in the fall, exclusively produced for the ARD media library. "Press Play" aims to bring political discourse to a younger audience and conceptualises "Politics meets pop culture - watching TV together with Louis Klamroth".
The show invites prominent guests from politics and society to a TV evening with depth. The creators of "Press Play" hope for reactions that reveal more than any prepared answer. The inaugural season of "Press Play" will start on 29 September, with three initial episodes, each 30 minutes long.
The podcast series "Deep State - From Elite Soldier to Reichsbürger" is a new addition to Louis Klamroth's fields of activity within the ARD network. The authors behind this podcast series are Helene Fröhmcke, Antonia Märzhäuser, and Martin Kaul, the same team responsible for "Press Play".
