Ludhiana robbery case solved: Two individuals apprehended for the theft of ₹70,000 in Khanna area

In a significant development, the Khanna police have managed to solve the daylight robbery that took place on August 20, 2021, in Bibipur. The incident, which targeted a specially-abled shopkeeper named Manpreet Singh, sparked fear across the region.

The robbery occurred when three masked miscreants arrived on a scooter at Manpreet Singh's shop. The miscreants threatened Manpreet and snatched a cash-filled bag containing approximately ₹70,000 from the counter. The prompt and professional action of the police led to the arrest of two prime accused within two days of the FIR being registered.

Two of the three accused, Satpal Singh alias Satta and Manveer Singh alias Billa, have been arrested. The arrests were made during police raids, and the arrested men will be produced in a court. The police used CCTV footage to trace the accused, which played a crucial role in the investigation.

However, the third accused in the robbery has been identified but remains at large. Raids are underway to arrest the third accused, and DSP Bhati asserted that the police will track down anyone who is hiding. DSP Bhati stressed that no criminal or anti-social element would be spared.

The focus of the further investigation will be on recovering the looted money. The incident has left the local community relieved following the arrests, but the search for the third accused continues. The Khanna police are determined to bring the remaining accused to justice and ensure the safety of its citizens.
