Mahindra Unveils Four New Electric and Combustion SUV Models

Mahindra, the Indian multinational automotive manufacturer, has revealed four concept models that are set to redefine the premium SUV experience in global markets. The models, named Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT, and Vision.X, showcase Mahindra's 'NU_IQ platform', which will support both electrified and combustion powertrains and underpin a new range of disruptive SUVs.

The Vision.S and Vision.T, with their Toyota FJ Cruiser-inspired style, are compact electric SUVs boasting decent ground clearance. The Vision.X, dubbed the Sporty Spice of the group, adds a touch of sportiness to the lineup.

Mahindra has promised superior driving dynamics, class-leading boot space, and top-tier safety standards for these new models. However, specific details about these aspects are yet to be disclosed.

The company aims to deliver these models to major left-hand drive vehicle markets such as the United States, Europe, and other international regions. While it's unclear at this stage which left-hand drive markets Mahindra is referring to, potential options could include China or the United States. New Zealand may also be a future market for Mahindra's products.

The models are designed by Mahindra India Design Studio in Mumbai and Mahindra Advanced Design Europe in Banbury, UK. Mahindra has global aspirations for these new models, aiming to deliver them to a larger audience in India and redefine the premium SUV experience in global markets, including left-hand drive regions.

Production versions of these concepts will launch from 2027. Mahindra plans to expand its reach and make its mark in the global automotive industry with these innovative SUVs. Stay tuned for more updates as we await the official launch of these exciting new models.
