Major League Baseball Team Colorado Rockies Make Headlines

Meanwhile, Darnell's season-ending surgery to repair a detached labrum in his left hip is scheduled for Sept. 23. The recovery time for this surgery is approximately eight months.
On the mound for the Rockies, German Marquez struggled, walking three batters and striking out none. In contrast, right-hander reliever Darnell demonstrated his ability to pitch in the big leagues before his injury, according to manager Warren Schaffer.
Antonio Senzatela, another Colorado right-hander, allowed two home runs in the game. Despite these setbacks, the Rockies' starter, Darnell, pitched admirably, making his first start after his injury break with right biceps tendinitis on Sept. 22.
The Cubs' victory marked their fifth straight win over the Rockies. The game was a testament to the Cubs' resilience and the Rockies' determination, with both teams showcasing their strengths and weaknesses in a thrilling contest.
