Man, aged 39, wreaks havoc at Halle Central Station (Saale), causing damage to Federal police vehicles using a wood slate and paving stones.
In an unusual series of events, a 39-year-old man is currently under investigation for causing damage to two Federal Police service vehicles and threatening officers in Halle (Saale).
The incidents occurred on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at around 04:40. The man, who has not been named or identified in the available search results, was first reported by the security service of Deutsche Bahn to the Federal Police Office.
According to reports, the man struck a parked Federal Police service vehicle with a wooden plank, causing damage to the hood and front bumper of the vehicle. After being released, the man allegedly damaged a second parked service vehicle and threatened Federal Police officers.
The man was initially taken to the Federal Police's duty room to establish his identity. However, he actively resisted the measures of the Federal Police on the way to the station, necessitating the use of force to take him back.
The man is accused of property damage, destruction of important work equipment, threat, dangerous bodily injury, and resistance to law enforcement officers.
The state police handed the man over to the Federal Police for further investigation.
