Man in Ontario apprehended due to warrant connected to various theft incidents

Ryan J. Lawliss, a 39-year-old man from Ontario, found himself in legal trouble once again this August. He was arrested on the 13th, this time on a warrant for failing to appear in court. The warrant was issued by Walworth Town Court, stemming from a missed court date related to a petit larceny charge.

This is not the first time Ryan J. Lawliss has been involved in incidents this year. In March, he was previously arrested after employees at a store in Ontario found him sleeping in the bottle return area. Deputies said he had hidden several consumable items in his jacket and was attempting to leave without paying. Despite this, he was released with an appearance ticket.

In July, Ryan J. Lawliss was charged with petit larceny after allegedly walking out of a Marion Speedway with two Mike's Harder drinks and a lighter concealed in his clothing. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the theft, and he was arrested days later. Once again, he was released with an appearance ticket.

Ryan J. Lawliss was already in custody on unrelated charges when the warrant was served at the Wayne County Jail. He was arraigned the same day he was arrested on the new warrant.
