Market for the manufacturing of various goods and services
Prepare for a fun-filled weekend as the traditional Bruchmarkt Summer Fair makes its return to Detmold from July 18 to 21. The event will be held in the Bruchberg and Rosental event area.
For four days, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, rides, and shopping opportunities. Around 40 vendors will be present, offering goods such as socks, bags, jewelry, and more. For the thrill-seekers, there will be a range of rides suitable for both children and adults, including the Auto-Skooter, Biene Maja, Kindersportkarussell, ball and arrow throwing, and a shooting gallery.
Food and drink stalls will also be available, offering treats like donuts, roasted almonds, crepes, and churros. On Monday, each carousel ride will cost only 2 euros, making it an affordable day out for all.
Safety is a top priority, with necessary measures in place such as barriers and entry restrictions. Motorists are advised to avoid the affected inner-city area and use alternative parking spaces at Lustgarten (P1), Kronenplatz (P7), and Wotanstraße/Parkhaus am Finanzamt (P9).
Please note that Rosental will be closed to traffic from July 16, 7 pm to July 22, 10 am. This closure will affect the area from Doktorweg to Leopoldstraße, and the Rosental bus stop will be relocated to Doktorweg during the closure.
For any inquiries, you can contact Louisa Rabeneick via Email or at 05231 977 8485. The city portal asks for understanding from road users during this time.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy a fantastic summer fair experience in Detmold!
