Hunting Alice Bell: A Thrilling New Series

Amanda Abbington, known for her roles in Sherlock and Mr. Ripley's Game, is starring in a new Channel 4 thriller, Hunting Alice Bell. The six-part series, written by David Baddiel, follows Alice Bell, a former nurse and the lover and accomplice of a notorious anaesthetist serial killer. Living under a new identity in Britain, Alice Bell's life is turned upside down when she is accused online of being someone else.

David Baddiel, in a poignant statement, said, "We are told today that anyone can be who they want to be. But that means anyone can have who they are taken away from them."

Married At First Sight UK: A Tenth Series and a Twist

None of the participants can say they didn't know what to expect, as this is the tenth series of Married At First Sight UK. Filming for the new series on BBC One will begin next year. The show will follow couples through every stage of the process, including hen and stag dos, which are often flashpoints with tears, fights, and moments of temptation.

The line-up of participants includes personal trainers, cabin crew, and bankers, but the search results do not provide information about who plays these roles in the new season. Returning to guide the couples are Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas, and Mel Schilling.

A Return to Bagpuss and Ross Edgley's Documentary

For fans of classic children's television, Bagpuss, the beloved character, is making a comeback in a new live action and animated film. This new interpretation imagines how Bagpuss would cope in contemporary Britain.

Meanwhile, Ross Edgley's documentary, Fire And Ice, about his 1,000-mile swim through dangerous waters, will air on Channel 4.

Poinless and Celebrity Co-Hosts

The programme makers of Poinless believe this will add to the sensational moments already delivered by the show. Filming for the new series on BBC One will begin next year. Alexander Armstrong will be joined by Judi Love, Angela Rippon, Trevor Nelson, Gethin Jones, Tom Allen, and Angela Scanlon as celebrity co-hosts.

In the show, James Corden and Ruth Jones star as estranged brother and sister, Ben and Lisa, who live in different places. They are working on a new comedy titled The Choir.

Stay tuned for these exciting new shows and more! On a separate note, Channel 4 is airing the UK version of Married At First Sight later this month.
