Megan Fox has made a surprising addition to her acting resume, winning not one but two Razzie Awards for Worst Supporting Actress. The Golden Raspberry Awards, a counterpart to the Academy Awards, celebrated the worst cinematic failures of 2023 and 2024, with Fox taking home the honours for her roles in the films "Johnny & Clyde" and "Exp4ndables" (The Expendables 4).
Fox's win in 2024 marked her second time receiving this Razzie in the category, following her first win in 2015 for Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sylvester Stallone, who also starred in "Exp4ndables", won Worst Supporting Actor at this year's Razzies.
The films "Johnny & Clyde" and "Exp4ndables" received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics, with "Exp4ndables" garnering a 14% Rotten Tomatoes rating and "Johnny & Clyde" a dismal 0%. In "Johnny & Clyde", Fox played a casino owner, while in "Exp4ndables", she took on the role of a CIA operator.
Despite the less-than-stellar reviews, Fox has since starred in critically acclaimed films such as Till Death and has appeared in campaigns for fashion brands like Boohoo and SKIMS. However, she has not commented on her sweep of this year's Razzies.
Fran Drescher, known for her role in The Nanny, received the Redeemer award at this year's Razzies for her role in shepherding the actors' guild through a prolonged 2023 strike.
