Team Group Unveils New DDR5 Memory Kits for High-End AMD and Intel Gaming PCs

Team Group, a well-known memory manufacturer, has announced the release of two new DDR5 memory kits, each with a capacity of 256 GB. These kits, available under the T-Force Delta RGB and T-Create Expert lines, are designed specifically for high-end AMD AM5 platforms and Intel 12th Gen (or newer) gaming PCs.

The T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-6000 CL32 kit targets gamers and speed enthusiasts, offering high speed (up to 6000 MT/s) with low latency (CL32) for faster system responsiveness and smoother gaming experiences. On the other hand, the T-Create Expert DDR5-5600 CL42 kit is aimed at professionals requiring stable, large-capacity memory for demanding workloads like 4K/8K video editing, 3D rendering, and AI tasks.

These new memory kits have been developed in close collaboration with leading motherboard manufacturers and validated on AMD's latest X870 platform. They are fully compatible and optimized for AMD AM5 platforms, particularly the AMD X870 motherboards paired with Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.

However, for Intel 12th Gen or newer platforms, the compatibility and performance data have not been explicitly confirmed by TeamGroup yet. Given the focus on AMD X870 chipset optimization, the kits are primarily optimized for AMD AM5 systems. For Intel platforms, suitable DDR5 modules from other brands with demonstrated broad platform compatibility exist, but TeamGroup's new 256 GB kits have not been specifically confirmed for Intel support yet.

The new DDR5 memory kits from Team Group are quad DIMM sets, meaning they consist of four memory sticks per kit. They have been tested on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D PC with an Asus ROG Strix X870-F Gaming WiFi motherboard, running at 6,000 MT/s and timings of 32-44-44-96.

As for pricing, the details are currently unknown. However, the kits are expected to be available worldwide starting early September 2025. It's worth noting that on Newegg, there are only two options for 256 GB DDR5 RAM kits, and they are both over $750. In contrast, the new memory kits from Team Group are available for less than $80.

In summary, for gaming PCs using AMD AM5 platforms, these 256 GB DDR5 kits promise high capacity and solid performance with good compatibility. For Intel 12th Gen and newer systems, users should await further confirmation or consider other DDR5 kits with verified Intel support. The T-Force Delta RGB kit, with its high speed and low latency, is ideal for gamers, while the T-Create Expert kit, with its stability and large capacity, caters to professionals.
