In the heart of Saxony, an unusual crime wave has surfaced, with the main focus on a series of thefts from E-charging stations. According to initial investigations, two suspects, known to the local police, are under scrutiny for aggravated theft.

The suspects, identified as Freeman and Kenneth Bartley, have a troubled past. Freeman, a 38-year-old, has had frequent altercations with neighbours and local authorities. Despite losing his gun license, he was found to possess a large arsenal of weapons. Bartley, on the other hand, is a 15-year-old who made headlines in Tennessee in 2005 for shooting a school employee and injuring two others.

The suspects, allegedly under the influence of narcotics, were apprehended near the crime scene. The stolen copper cables and tools were found in a vehicle, for which the keys were discovered on Bartley.

The total damage caused by this incident amounts to over 20,000 euros. This is a significant blow to the efforts towards a greener Saxony, as the E-charging stations play a crucial role in promoting electric vehicle usage.
