On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 07:18 AM, an emergency collision occurred at the intersection of Halfinger-/Kreiller Street in Munich. The incident involved an emergency vehicle (Nef) and a light motorcycle.
According to the Munich Fire Department, an emergency call was placed to the integrated control center immediately after the accident. The emergency doctor on board provided initial care for the motorcycle rider, who only sustained minor abrasions. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
The collision occurred as the emergency vehicle was attempting to turn from Halfinger Street onto Kreiller Street. For the duration of the accident investigation, the intersection was reduced to one lane in the direction of the city center.
The exact cause of the accident will be determined by the Munich Police Department's Traffic Accident Investigation Unit. The investigation is ongoing, and the fire department could not quantify the material damage at this time.
The motorcycle rider and the emergency vehicle crew were able to leave the scene independently after the accident investigation was completed.
