FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan, has a new Chief Information Officer (CIO). BJ Bouschor, a seasoned IT professional with over two decades of experience in the gaming and casino industry, has taken on the role.
Bouschor has been working with FireKeepers since 2014, starting as the Director of Information Technology. In 2015, he was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning FireKeepers at the forefront of secure, innovative, and guest-focused technology.
Prior to joining FireKeepers, Bouschor served as the manager of the IT Gaming Division, overseeing technology operations for five casino properties in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. His extensive experience in the industry has prepared him well for his current role, where he leads a multidisciplinary team across network operations, support services, database development, program management, audio visual, cybersecurity, and business/application analysis.
Bouschor is a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. He started his gaming technology career in 2002 with Kewadin Casinos in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
