Microsoft's AI assistant, Copilot, is set to revolutionise the TV viewing experience with its integration into various Samsung TVs and monitors, including Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, as well as M7, M8, and M9 models. The company also plans to expand Copilot's application area to LG TVs in the future, targeting the entertainment sector more strongly.

Since its launch in March 2023, Copilot has been expanded to the Edge browser, the Bing search engine, the Windows 11 operating system, and mobile apps. Now, it's making its way to the living room.

The integration of Copilot aims to significantly enhance the user experience, particularly by shortening the search for the right program. Users will be able to interact with Copilot via the remote control, using voice commands registered via a microphone in the remote control.

Copilot provides spoiler-free summaries and personalized recommendations for movies and series, making it easier for users to discover new content. In-depth information about actors, authors, and directors will be directly accessible on the TV, offering a more immersive viewing experience.

Moreover, Copilot does not provide spoilers for movies and series, ensuring that users can enjoy their favourite shows without worrying about unwanted spoilers. Users can obtain personalized recommendations without leaving the TV interface, making the entire process seamless and convenient.

While the exact LG TV model names on which Microsoft plans to offer its Copilot assistant in the future have not been specified, the company's aim is clear: to enhance the TV viewing experience and make entertainment more accessible and personalised.

In a move that strengthens Microsoft's presence in the entertainment sector, Copilot's integration into TVs marks a significant step forward for the AI assistant. As Copilot continues to evolve, it's clear that it will play an increasingly important role in how we consume entertainment in the future.
