Military band performance of the Army Music Corps Kassel on 14th May 2025 at the Church of the Savior Altenritte
On May 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM, the Heilandskirche Altenritte will play host to a unique chamber music concert, brought to you by the Army Music Corps Kassel. The event, organised by the Support Association of the Heilandskirche, promises an evening of diverse music, featuring woodwind, brass, and percussion ensembles.
Senior Master Sergeant Markus Klöppner will lead the Army Music Corps Kassel for this special concert. The repertoire spans across various eras, from Renaissance music to contemporary and modern rock-pop interpretations. The concert will showcase unusual works for chamber music in partly self-arranged arrangements, making for an unforgettable musical experience.
Soloists will also take centre stage, presenting themselves and their rare instruments, such as the harpsichord and the viola d'amore. Roger Hecker, the soloist for the evening, is particularly looking forward to this opportunity.
The joy of jointly shaping these chamber music concerts and making music is evident in every musician of the Army Music Corps Kassel. Their dedication to their craft is matched only by their commitment to the Heilandskirche, as admission to the concert is free, but voluntary donations are welcome for the maintenance of the church and the acquisition of new church bells.
