Minigolf Competition in Landshut, Germany, finds Lea Reitemeier placing third
In the recent German Championship for System Minigolf held in Landshut from August 28 to 30, Lea Reitemeier from Minigolfclub Rot-Weiß Wanne-Eickel put up a valiant effort but ultimately finished in third place.
The tournament, which began at 8:00 am on Thursday with a mass start, saw a total of 110 players from 38 clubs compete. Lea Reitemeier started the tournament at hole 4.
Sabrina Heinrich from Bad Kreuznach dominated the women's category, taking the lead in the first round with a 25er score and never looking back. Claudia Weinzierl from Kehl finished in second place, while Lea Reitemeier claimed the third spot.
Lea Reitemeier arrived in Landshut on August 24, 2025, and spent her Sunday before the tournament practising the holes and choosing her balls to ensure she was well-prepared.
Despite not managing to keep up with Sabrina Heinrich, Lea Reitemeier expressed her satisfaction with her results at the German Minigolf Championship. She was one of only three participants in the women's category, making her achievement even more impressive.
