In the world of golf, the past week has seen some thrilling finishes and notable victories across various tournaments.

Thriston Lawrence of South Africa emerged victorious at the European Masters, securing his fifth title on the European tour. Lawrence finished the tournament with a score of 66, two strokes ahead of Matt Wallace, Sami Valimaki, and Rasmus Hojgaard who tied for second place. Notably, Lawrence's win came by a narrow margin of just two strokes.

Meanwhile, in the Far East, Yuma Kosahihira claimed his first title on the Japan Golf Tour with a win at the Sansan KBC Augusta Golf Tour. Ai Suzuki also triumphed at the Nitori Ladies on the Japan LPGA, while Dain Shin won a three-way playoff in the KG Ladies Open on the Korea LPGA.

Over on the LPGA, Miranda Wang secured her first title with a win at the FM Championship. Wang's victory marks the seventh LPGA rookie victory this year, a testament to the rising talent in women's golf. Rose Zhang and Andrea Lee finished fourth and fifth, respectively, five and four shots behind Wang. Sei Young Kim completed the top three, three shots behind the new champion.
