New Jackson Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P Guitars Unveiled

Jackson, in collaboration with musician Misha Mansoor, has expanded its signature collection with three new 7-string guitars: the Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P. These instruments, priced at £1,099 for the regular HT7s and £1,149 for the HT7P, are now available.

Mansoor, the developer of the Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P guitars, has opted for string-through-body hardtail bridges instead of EverTune bridges, citing a slight feel and tone tax compared to a good hardtail bridge. However, he still utilises EverTune bridges for live performances, finding their on-point tuning and intonation invaluable when stacking guitar parts.

The Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P models boast an asymmetrical arrowhead-style 4x3 headstock with die-cast locking tuners in black. Each guitar features Mansoor's MM1 electric guitar pickups, high-output passive humbuckers designed in collaboration with Mansoor. The fingerboards, equipped with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers, have a 20" radius ebony fingerboard, flatter than the typical 12" to 16" compound radius, with rolled edges for comfort.

The guitars sport longer scales, measuring 26.5", with solid poplar bodies and bolt-on roasted maple necks with an oiled-back finish. The necks have been reinforced with carbon fibre rods to withstand the rigours of the road or home practice.

The wiring setup offers five core tones from a 5-way blade selector switch, with master volume and tone control, the latter having a push/pull function. The instruments also feature Mansoor's offset dot inlays on the fingerboard.

The Juggernaut HT7 comes in Signal Yellow and Silverburst Sparkle, while the HT7P comes in Chlorine Burst, featuring poplar burl veneer. The HT7P model is priced £1,149, and the regular HT7s are priced £1,099.

Mansoor's new Juggernaut was described as "the ultimate in shrednology." However, he has remained tight-lipped about potential future developments, such as an 8-string with an EverTune, which he previously teased.

Each guitar in the collection is equipped with Periphery riff-master's 21st-century specs, making them a worthy addition to any musician's arsenal. The Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P are now available for purchase.
