Córdoba CF Expects Significant Income and Continues Active Transfer Market

Córdoba CF is gearing up for an exciting second half of the season, with several significant changes and improvements in the pipeline.

The much-anticipated video Marcadores or LED improvements for El Arcángel, the club's home stadium, are expected to be completed this month. This upgrade is part of a broader priority for the ownership to improve the stadium's facilities.

In terms of the squad, the wage limit has been increased by 31% to 10 million euros, allowing for more substantial investments in players. Despite this increase, not all income is fixed, as some depend on sporting performance. The budget for the season was around 15 million euros, with the remaining funds providing flexibility for unexpected opportunities.

The CEO of Córdoba CF, Antonio Fernández Monterrubio, has revealed that they have already started working on the winter market. In a press conference with Juanito, they discussed the club's transfer plans. Although the name of the president who spoke at the press conference on the preceding Tuesday remains unspecified, it is clear that the club is actively seeking new additions.

So far, Córdoba CF has carried out a total of 27 operations, with 15 arrivals and 12 departures. However, the club still has two free spots in the first team, which could be utilised in the upcoming winter market.

The increase in the wage limit is significant, considering all the operations that have been carried out, not just sporting ones. Antonio Fernández Monterrubio expects the club to have an income of around 20 million euros this season, a significant figure given the club's activities.

However, not all improvements promised for El Arcángel are on schedule, with some currently behind schedule. Despite this, the club remains optimistic about the future and is determined to continue its active transfer market strategy.

As the season progresses, fans can expect Córdoba CF to continue making moves to strengthen their squad and improve their facilities, all with the aim of achieving success on the pitch.
