The comparison was made between the regular monthly basic fees of 225 postpaid mobile tariffs in the first 24 contract months and the costs demanded in the same tariffs from the 25th month onwards. The increase can be observed across all tariff classes, from budget providers to unlimited flat rates.

The average basic fee increase is approximately 16 euros per month, and the average increase for these tariffs is a significant 66%. It's important to note that one-time fees and time-limited promotional prices were not considered in the comparison.

Starting from December 2021, consumers have the right to cancel telecommunications contracts that automatically renew after the minimum contract duration with a one-month notice period. This gives customers the power to switch providers if they feel they are being overcharged.

It's worth noting that more than one-third (over 33%) of mobile tariffs generally increase in price after 24 months. However, it's important to mention that more than 89 postpaid mobile tariffs were not specifically identified by individual companies or tariff names in the search results.
