Morning break in progress

Struggling extensively, I've finally joined. Phew, it's snug! Now, focusing on the zipper at the back, I attempt to move it, but it stubbornly remains immovable. A haze of perspiration and rubber envelops me.

In the serene setting of Schildow, a gravel pit lies green and lonely, with only two sunburnt retirees in the beach area. Here, Jirka Grahl, a newcomer to the world of triathlons, prepares for his competition debut.

Three years ago, Grahl learned freestyle swimming at the Pankow adult education center. Today, he is seen swimming laps in the water, his movements fluid and graceful.

Grahl is wearing the "Orca Athlex Flow" neoprene wetsuit, a sleek and high-performance suit with thin and highly sensitive rubber layers. The wetsuit comes with white gloves for easier wearing, a feature that proves useful as Grahl struggles to get into it, sweating profusely in the warm water.

Despite the water's warmth, Grahl is not concerned. For him, it's not about the water temperature; it's about the time. He swims with a purpose, his strokes powerful and precise. Today, he swam a distance of 2327 meters in 58 minutes and 55 seconds.

However, Grahl shares that his performance was slower than usual. He attributes this to the beautiful day and a bit of daydreaming. Grahl is known for his meditative approach to swimming, and it seems the scenic surroundings got the better of him today.

A man with yellow sunglasses, presumably a fellow swimmer, offers to help Grahl get into his wetsuit and later asks about his swim, sitting next to him. The man then offers to take a photo for Grahl, presumably for his wife and Insta.

Grahl is participating in the Fehmarn Triathlon on September 14th. While there is no specific information available about his participation, it is clear that Grahl is a dedicated athlete, ready to face the challenges that the triathlon will bring.

As Grahl continues his training, it is evident that he is a swimmer who thrives under pressure, using the beauty of the surroundings to fuel his determination rather than distract him. His debut in the Fehmarn Triathlon is sure to be an exciting event to watch.
