Motorcycle Crash Occurs on Tuesday Nightfall

A traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a small car occurred on Seilerseestraße near the highway entrance towards Hagen on Tuesday evening at around 19:50. The incident, which took place around 7:50 PM, prompted an immediate response from the emergency services.

Upon arrival, a fire engine from the professional fire brigade, a paramedic, and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Given the severity of the motorcyclist's injuries, a call was made for a rescue helicopter. The Dortmund rescue helicopter subsequently landed at the accident site.

The first responders initiated a call for additional ambulances to care for other affected individuals. Due to all ambulances from Iserlohn being in use, an additional ambulance from Hemer's fire department was deployed. A crisis intervention team was also requested to assist with the incident.

The critically injured motorcyclist received comprehensive medical first aid on-site from the fire department and emergency services. The helicopter's paramedic re-examined the injured motorcyclist before the decision was made to transport them to a specialized clinic in Dortmund by ambulance.

Another ambulance from Fröndenberg and a crisis intervention team were also requested to medically examine and care for other affected individuals. The Seilerseestraße remained closed in the area of the accident during the operation.
