Motorcyclist Sustains Injuries and Suspended Following Accident on A3 close to Nittendorf
In an unexpected turn of events, a motorcycle accident occurred on the A3 highway in the Regensburg district, causing a temporary disruption and closure of the road. The incident took place around 6:15 PM on August 23, 2025, near Nittendorf, between Laaber and Nittendorf.
The accident involved a single motorcyclist, a 59-year-old from Straubing, whose name has not been disclosed in the available sources. The motorcyclist collided with the central reservation, resulting in injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The motorcycle rider was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The direction affected by the closure was towards Passau. As a result, traffic on the A3 highway was disrupted, causing delays for motorists traveling in that direction. The A3 highway near Nittendorf was temporarily closed to ensure the safety of emergency services and to clear the scene of the accident.
