Motorist navigates through congested roads
On Friday, August 22nd, at 6:56 AM, a traffic accident involving personal injury occurred on Cologne Street in Schleiden-Gemünd.
The incident involved a 23-year-old driver from Mechernich, who was traveling from Kall towards Schleiden on Cologne Street. The young driver veered off the road to the left and collided head-on with an oncoming driver, a 57-year-old from Schleiden.
Fortunately, the other drivers involved in the accident were unharmed. However, the 23-year-old driver was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Behind the 57-year-old driver was another vehicle driven by a 62-year-old from Schleiden. The 62-year-old's vehicle was damaged by detached vehicle parts from the initial collision.
