Mouse journey results in Silver scoring points
On Saturday, August 26, 2023, Florian Silbereisen stepped into the spotlight as the new host of ARD's popular family show, "Die große Maus-Show". The 44-year-old entertainer took over the role from Esther Sedlaczek, who is currently on maternity leave.
Silbereisen, known for his work hosting music shows, showed noticeable enthusiasm and good instincts for spontaneity during his moderation. His debut episode attracted 2.65 million viewers, a significant increase of 350,000 viewers compared to the previous edition.
The industry service "DWDL.de" praised Silbereisen's performance on Sunday, calling it a "truly successful, attention-grabbing Mouse Adventure!"
In preparation for his role, Silbereisen discussed the position with Sedlaczek in June. The meeting, which took place over a lunch in Munich, saw Sedlaczek speaking highly of the show and the team. She even expressed her eagerness to watch the edition of "Die große Maus-Show" with her substitute.
Sedlaczek, who has been hosting the format since 2023, commented about her replacement, saying she would not dare to give a 'no-go' to such a great and experienced moderator.
The first channel aired "Die große Maus-Show" on Saturday evening, but the previous edition was postponed from its original date due to the broadcast of the U-21 European Football Championship final.
During his last recording visit, the mouse mascot of "Die große Maus-Show" welcomed Silbereisen personally.
No new facts were presented from the news section about Hamm.
As Silbereisen settles into his new role, viewers can look forward to more entertaining episodes of "Die große Maus-Show". Sedlaczek, who is eagerly awaiting her return, certainly seems to think so.
