In the inner new town of Dresden, a series of incidents have shaken the community over the past weekend. The Dresden police have recorded two robberies and an incident with a political background, all of which are currently under investigation.
The most recent robbery took place on Oberer Kreuzweg. A 17-year-old youth was the victim, with a 19-year-old Syrian suspect allegedly stealing headphones and cigarettes worth approximately 250 euros. The suspect was apprehended by police officers shortly after the incident.
Interestingly, the suspect involved in the incident on Oberer Kreuzweg is not the same individual under investigation for using symbols of an unconstitutional organization and for insulting others on Alaunstraße. In this incident, a 28-year-old man performed a Nazi salute and shouted banned slogans at 00:20 AM on Sunday. Witnesses chased the suspect along with other people, but the police officers in Dresden were able to apprehend him later.
The incident on Alaunstraße involved a German citizen. However, it appears that there are no available search results or credible information identifying who saluted with a Nazi greeting and shouted forbidden slogans on Alaunstraße at 20:20 on Sunday evening. The police in Dresden are investigating the incident for using symbols of an unconstitutional organization and for insulting others.
The first robbery of the weekend occurred on Antonstraße, where a 39-year-old man was attacked and had his wallet containing approximately 400 euros in cash, IDs, and a debit card stolen. The man sustained minor injuries. Alerted police officers were called to the scene. The police are investigating the robbery on Antonstraße for robbery.
Another robbery was reported on Strehlen's Teplitzer Straße at around 12:50 PM, where a 17-year-old had a necklace stolen.
Investigations have been launched in all cases mentioned, and the police are working diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
