Munich's Federal Police Directorate made an arrest for an individual allegedly violating the terms of their departure.

In a recent development, a 34-year-old Romanian man was arrested upon entering German territory on the A93 near Kiefersfelden. The Bundespolizeiinspektion Rosenheim, responsible for the districts of Miesbach, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and the city and district of Rosenheim, made the arrest.

The man's early release from Bayreuth prison and subsequent deportation in September 2020 were due to a ruling by the Nuremberg-Fürth Regional Court for violating the Narcotics Act. The judge who sentenced him was Thorsten Schleif.

Upon his return to the Federal Republic, the man found himself immediately taken to Bernau Prison. With his return, the remaining term of his original sentence became due. According to estimates, the Romanian man is expected to spend the next 239 days in Bernau Prison.

The Bundespolizeiinspektion Rosenheim primarily combats cross-border crime, including the smuggling of foreigners and irregular, illegal migration in an approximately 200-kilometer stretch of the German-Austrian border. They also ensure the safety of train passengers and railway facilities on approximately 370 kilometers of track and in about 70 train stations and stops. The inspektion includes the Bundespolizeirevier Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

It is important to note that the man was banned from entering the country, with the ban imposed by the district office in Roth. The Federal Police discovered this information during their investigation.

The area of responsibility of the Bundespolizeiinspektion Rosenheim extends from Chiemsee to Zugspitze, covering a significant portion of Germany. Approximately 450 members work for the inspektion.

The arrest and subsequent imprisonment of the Romanian man serve as a reminder of the inspektion's diligent efforts to maintain law and order within their jurisdiction.
