The Halle City Museum is set to host a special exhibition from September 4 to November 16, featuring the award-winning comic "Bloody Sneaker." Created by the youth of a history project named "Diary of Emotions," the comic is based on research about the "Shoe Laundry Command" at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

The comic, which previously graced the walls of the museum, is a poignant and thought-provoking piece that has resonated with audiences of all ages. Its creator, known as Nac12, has once again collaborated with the Halle City Museum to bring this powerful work back to the public.

The ceremonial opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, September 4, at 3 PM. Admission to the event is free, and the museum is inviting project participants and the public to attend.

Alongside "Bloody Sneaker," the special exhibition will also feature other works that explore the emotional impact of historical events. The exhibit is a testament to the power of art in fostering understanding and empathy.

The "Bloody Sneaker" comic received the award from the International Comic Competition for Youth, an event organized by the German War Graves Commission. Last year, the comic was honoured with this prestigious accolade, further cementing its place as a significant piece of contemporary art.

Visitors to the Halle City Museum can view "Bloody Sneaker" at Große Markstraße 10 from September 4. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in this moving and insightful work.
