Museum toilet facility in Greifswald temporarily shut down due to vandalism damage
A vandalism incident that occurred on the night of August 7th to 8th has forced the closure of the Museum Harbor public toilet facility.
The incident resulted in significant damage and theft, with both control panels of the stalls and the integrated payment devices being among the items targeted. The control panels were forced open, and cash boxes were stolen.
As a result, the facility was secured and marked as "out of order". A police report has been filed, but the identity of the unknown perpetrators remains unknown in the available information.
Regrettably, this means that the Museum Harbor public toilet facility remains closed at this time. Repairs have been commissioned, and once completed, the facility will reopen for public use.
We urge anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the local authorities. The vandalism not only causes inconvenience but also significant costs for the restoration of the facility.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our visitors and hope for a swift resolution to this unfortunate incident.
Stay tuned for updates on the Museum Harbor public toilet facility's reopening.
