Music Unites: Exploring the Transcendent Power of Jazz Music
Get ready for an evening of jazz as two exciting events, Jazz Night 207 and Jazz Night 206, take centre stage in Obertshausen and Weiskirchen.
On the schedule for Jazz Night 206 is the Christoph Spendel Group, led by the renowned pianist and keyboardist, Christoph Spendel. The ensemble has been touring the European club and festival scene since the early Eighties, bringing their unique brand of jazz to audiences across the continent.
Thomas Langer, a familiar name in the jazz circuit, will also be a part of Jazz Night 206.
Moving on to Jazz Night 207, the Swinging Fundus Jazz Band will set the tone with their Swinging Thirties and Forties Jazz. Performing from 17:00 to 20:30, the band promises an evening of classic jazz tunes that will transport you back in time. The Axel Schlosser Quintet, consisting of three seasoned professionals living within a two-kilometer radius in Obertshausen and Weiskirchen, will take over from 20:00 to 22:30.
The Darius Blair Quartet, known for their dynamic, grounded, nostalgic, dreamy, and emotional music, will also perform at 20:00. Their set mainly comprises original compositions, making for a unique and personal jazz experience.
The Noor Jazz Ensemble, originating from the Bridges Chamber Orchestra, is another highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, no further information was provided about the Thomas Bachmann Group.
