N26's Co-Founder Valentin Stalf to Relinquish CEO Position and Pivot to Supervisory Board Place
New Leadership at the Crypto Valley Association
The Crypto Valley Association (CVA) is set to embark on a new chapter of growth and impact, with Jérôme Bailly taking over as President from September 1, 2023. Bailly, who was previously the Vice President of the CVA, is a familiar face within the organisation and is now ready to lead the next phase of the CVA's growth.
Bailly's appointment comes after Emi Lorincz's successful tenure as President. During her presidency, which began in 2021, Lorincz expanded institutional engagement, strengthened the CVA's financial and governance foundations, and enhanced Switzerland's reputation as a hub for blockchain innovation. Under her leadership, the CVA became a respected, internationally recognized association.
Lorincz's contributions to the CVA did not go unnoticed. Bailly acknowledges her vision and leadership in building the CVA's strong foundations. Lorincz will continue her service with the CVA, now as Vice President, working alongside Bailly.
Bailly has expressed his gratitude to the CVA board members for their trust in his appointment. He plans to invest in programmes, team capacity, and digital tools to create long-term value for CVA members. He also intends to address regulatory challenges in the CVA's work and focus on deepening collaboration between web3 innovators and Swiss financial institutions.
Bailly's goal is to strengthen the unity of Switzerland's blockchain hubs, aiming to continue the CVA's journey with Emi Lorincz's guidance and expertise. With this new leadership, the Crypto Valley Association is poised for continued growth and impact in the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape.
