Fredrik Aursnes Bids Farewell to Norwegian National Team
Fredrik Aursnes, one of Norway's most underrated players, retired from the Norwegian national team on March 12, 2024. The midfielder's decision to step down was announced on the Norwegian Football Federation's website, leaving a void both on and off the pitch.

Schjelderup has tried to convince Aursnes to return to the Norwegian national team, but has not succeeded yet. Aursnes, however, respects his own decision and is focused on his career with Benfica.
