EnBW, the operator of these charging stations, was not previously aware of the specific problem in Lünen. Upon learning about the issue, they have contacted the property owner and Loyal Parking to address the matter. While they have not publicly announced a solution regarding the case of Dominik Mac Nelly, they have expressed their intention to approach him directly to find a resolution.
Dominik Mac Nelly, on the other hand, has found himself in a difficult situation. He admits to using public charging stations due to not having his own. However, his car was on the premises for extended periods, leading to the charges. According to Loyal Parking, vehicles staying on the premises for longer than 120 minutes or driving onto the premises outside business hours receive a letter. Each charge incurs a contractual penalty of 45 euros plus fees, totaling 53 euros per charge.
Loyal Parking acknowledges the anger that this situation has caused and plans to take concrete measures to address it.
