Netherlands Signature Floral Artwork Commissioned for World Cup Showcase
The World Cup Floral Art 2025, held at the expansive World Forum The Hague, has been a spectacle of floral artistry. In the third task, "Nederland Waterland," 23 talented floral designers from around the globe showcased their unique interpretations of the Dutch theme.
The Netherlands was the chosen theme for Task 3, aiming to bring the feeling of water and the beach to life. Designers were given 90 minutes to create their masterpieces, which had to last for four days and not exceed 47 inches x 47 inches wide and 74 inches tall.
The botanical materials needed for the designs were primarily placed into Oasis Bio Floral Foam, with half of all materials provided by the organisers as a surprise package. Designers were allowed to bring their own framework, but a constructed prop was also provided. The technique for the design was left to the designer's choice.
The participants in Task 3 included floral designers from the United States, Finland, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Japan, Germany, Croatia, China, the Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Armenia, the Republic of Korea, France, Romania, Latin America, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic.
The winners of Task 3 were announced, with Tomasz «Max» Kuczyński from Poland taking the top spot. The event has been a source of pride for fans of each participating country, with supporters rallying behind their competitor at the event.
The venue, decorated with flowers, offers a beautiful atmosphere for flower lovers. Marginpar sponsored the flowers for this design, adding to the vibrant display. The World Forum The Hague also offers exclusive branding opportunities, allowing organisers to transform the entire building into their own look and feel, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
The World Cup Floral Art 2025 is a testament to the creativity and skill of floral designers from around the world, and the "Nederland Waterland" task was no exception. Visitors to the event have been treated to a stunning display of floral artistry, with each designer bringing their unique interpretation of the Dutch theme to life.
