Networking event for women: A walking and conversational gathering for females
Starting this September, the City of Lünen and the Adult Education Center are organising a series of monthly walks titled "Walk & Talk". These events are specifically designed for women and girls, aiming to provide an opportunity for conversation, make new connections, and enjoy time outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.
The first gathering will take place on September 14, 2025, at 3 pm on the market square in front of the town hall in Lünen. Each "Walk & Talk" event will last approximately an hour at a leisurely pace, ensuring all participants can keep up.
On December 14, 2025, the "Walk & Talk" event will start from the car park at the LünTec building (Am Brambusch) in Lünen. Another location for the walk is the car park of the REWE market in Horstmar (Baukelweg) on November 9, 2025. The location for the October 12, 2025, event will be the car park at Cappenberger See (Wehrenboldstraße) in Lünen.

The Equal Opportunities and Women's Office of the City of Lünen, in collaboration with the Adult Education Center, is responsible for organising these events. They are intended to foster encounters and strengthen community.
Participation in the "Walk & Talk" events is free and no registration is required. The events will take place monthly, on the second Sunday of every month, starting from September 14, 2025. The "Walk & Talk" events will occur in Lünen, Germany.
