New advancements unveiled
The construction industry is about to witness a game-changer with the introduction of the Hilti BL20/21, a compact drilling device designed for precision and versatility.
This innovative tool boasts a quick-change system that allows for fast assembly and disassembly, making it ideal for series production or challenging environments. The ergonomic design and back-friendly work ensure comfortable use, even during long hours on the job.
The BL20/21 is particularly designed for door and window openings, and its console enables flexible, safe, and precise work with difficult cutting angles. The console can be continuously adjusted for the angle of inclination, and a scale is provided for displaying the current saw angle.
One of the standout features of the BL20/21 is its extendable rail, which can be lengthened as needed to facilitate precise sawing of openings. The tool's compact design and low weight make it suitable for work in confined spaces, such as pool renovations.
The BL20/21 is equipped with a brushless motor, ensuring high drilling speeds and clean results. The motor housing is fully enclosed, offering protection against dust and moisture. A saw cut indicator is included for precise positioning in vertical cuts with the console.
The BL20/21 can be used both by hand and in a drilling stand, offering flexibility in various working conditions. The clamping jaws and mounting plate can be individually adjusted to each other by 90° in the console, providing added versatility.
Hilti, the manufacturer of the BL20/21 and the wall saw WS76, has also developed a newly designed guide rail for the hand saws TS40 and TR40. The swivelling mounting console for the wall saw WS76 is designed for complex cutting tasks, such as on stairs or miter cuts.
The BL20/21 offers four adjustable drilling speeds, providing users with the ability to tailor the tool to their specific needs. The company claims that the BL20/21's service life is positively affected by its motor housing, ensuring long-term reliability.
The BL20/21 has already been used in various drilling projects, including pool renovations, where it has been utilised for drilling lights and inlets and outlets. This versatile tool is set to redefine the construction industry, offering a solution for both simple and complex drilling tasks.
