New Employees Join R&M Consultants' Land Surveying, Environmental, and Water Resources Teams
R&M Consultants, a leading civil engineering, surveying, and environmental firm, has bolstered its team with the addition of three new staff members in its offices in Anchorage and Fairbanks.
Nick Parker, a Land Surveyor-in-Training and an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, has joined R&M's Land Surveying Group as a Staff Surveyor. Parker holds a bachelor's degree in Geomatics from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and brings four summers of experience as a geomatics intern with R&M Consultants to his new role.
Lindsey Sutherland, an Environmental Specialist, has joined the Fairbanks office as part of the Environmental Services Group. Sutherland holds a bachelor's degree in Geology from Clemson University and a master's degree in Geology from Idaho State University. She has three years of experience in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance and documentation, having supported processes for agencies such as the US Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and US Department of Defense. Sutherland is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in the National Environmental Policy Act from Utah State University.
Adam Dalton, a Staff Engineer, has been hired by R&M Consultants in the Water Resources Group. Dalton holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and brings five years of experience in water resources and civil infrastructure projects to his new role. Dalton uses tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, and EPA SWMM in his work.
Outside of work, Parker enjoys hiking, exploring plant identification, and practicing watercolor art. Sutherland's interests lie in alpine skiing, biking, camping, cooking, fishing, gardening, and working on home improvement projects.
