New Flagship Boat Model Unveiled: Saxdor 460 GTC

Saxdor Yachts, a renowned boat manufacturer, has unveiled its latest creation – the 46ft flagship, named the Saxdor 460 GTC. The company is also planning to launch a walkaround version of its popular Saxdor 320 GTC, known as the 320 GTWA.

The Saxdor 460 GTC boasts a unique design, featuring sliding side doors leading out to a pair of extra long drop-down balconies. In the down position, these balconies will be at the same level as the saloon floor, extending the deck area significantly. The drop-down balconies extend around a third of the length of the boat and have large glass inserts, providing ample natural light and breathtaking views.

The boat's wheelhouse will feature a galley-up layout with dinette seating and a starboard-side helm console. The port side of the wheelhouse is left free to access the usual pantograph hinged door leading out to the big foredeck lounge. The Saxdor 460 GTC sports a twin-step hull and is aiming for a top speed of 50 knots from the largest engine option. However, the specific engines and their types are yet to be announced.

The Saxdor 460 GTC is larger than the Saxdor 400 GTC. Yet, it's not clear if the lower deck layout of the Saxdor 460 GTC mirrors that of the 400, particularly the aft cabin arrangement. The usual owner's double and a separate head-shower compartment are expected, but the presence of an extra third cabin or a larger version of the 400's current second cabins remains uncertain.

As for the Saxdor 320 GTWA, it will feature a slimmer wheelhouse with a reverse-angled windscreen and walkaround side decks. Guests can walk in and out of the side doors as well as the main rear door when the balconies are down. However, no interior renderings or layout drawings have been shared yet for either the Saxdor 460 GTC or the 320 GTWA.

No date has yet been set for the launch of these new models. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new additions to the Saxdor Yachts fleet.
