New offering from Ampacet: Masterbatch solution designed for use in medical sectors

The new offerings include ProVital+ Colors, medical-grade color masterbatch solutions, ProVital+ Permstat, a medical-grade permanent antistatic masterbatch, and the ProVital + LaserMark portfolio, specifically designed for medical applications.
Ampacet's latest innovation, ProVital+ PROFLOW 1485, is a PFAS-Free and Siloxane-Free polymer processing aid masterbatch solution. This groundbreaking product has been formulated with high-quality raw materials and has been successfully pre-evaluated for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993 part 5, 10, and 23 (cytotoxicity, skin sensitisation, and irritation), and European Pharmacopeia (Ph. Eur.) 11th edition, monograph 3.1.3.
ProVital+ PROFLOW 1485 provides full consistency of formulation with a no-change policy for raw materials at CAS and commercial levels. This consistency ensures effective elimination of melt fracture, reduces die build-up, and minimises downtime while improving throughput. Moreover, it is globally compliant for food contact due to the potential health hazards and increased regulations of Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Manufactured under consistent process parameters and controlled-room production, ProVital+ PROFLOW 1485 minimises cross contamination risks. It is also compatible with surface treatments such as printing and lamination and does not affect sealing performance.
The ProVital + LaserMark portfolio, another addition to Ampacet's medical offerings, is designed to replace conventional fluorinated PPA masterbatches in a wide range of applications.
While ProVital+ Colors and ProVital+ Permstat do not appear to have global food contact compliance, they are intended for use in the medical industry.
Ampacet will be present at both CPHI 2025 (28-30 October, Frankfurt, Germany) at Booth 8.0L75 and K2025 (8-15 October, Düsseldorf, Germany) at Booth C24 in Hall 5, offering attendees the opportunity to learn more about these innovative products and how they can benefit their operations.
