In the quiet town of Aurich, Germany, a series of incidents involving drunk driving have been reported over the past few days.

On Sunday morning at 02:15, a 66-year-old woman from Blomberg was arrested following a traffic accident on Wallinghauser Street. The woman, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, failed a breathalyzer test with a reading of 1.5. Despite the high reading, the incident did not result in any injuries. Meanwhile, in the nearby town of Loppersum, another incident occurred on Osterhuser Straße. A 22-year-old man was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, but his name has not been released to the public. The man stopped near a tree after causing some damage to a street lamp and was also taken into custody.

In a separate incident, a 39-year-old man from South Brokmerland was involved in a traffic accident in Aurich. The man, who was riding an e-bike, damaged a street lamp during the incident. The age of the man injured in the accident is 55, but it appears that he did not sustain any injuries.

In an unrelated incident, the police in Wittmund are seeking information regarding the theft of an e-scooter from Wallstraße between 20:30 and 21:00 on Friday evening. The stolen e-scooter is of the brand Extreme VMAX VX2.
